Hot, yet fun day at Busch gardens. Wore my new athletic dress with useful pockets in the shorts portion. I was sticky the whole time, not sure if the dress to blame or the 100 reel feel weather.

Didn’t see too many of the larger animals, but the birds were plentiful. Tasty strawberry kiwi burst and strawberry shakedown beers with part of Bier Fest. Tried some meatballs and bratwurst in pretzel buns. First time going together and with my annual pass. Got 10 Busch bucks and free bier sample, which i used on a vodka, pear, “Mokito” (?) cocktail.

first time on cheetah hunt ride. We had to wait 2 hours to get on it. The only other coaster we went on was Kumba, which is still one of my favorites. we were next to ride when the storms came through and we had to wait for the rain to pass. fortunately it wasn’t too long.

We saw a beautiful rainbow in the evening over the flamingo fields. Fantastic fireworks show to wrap up the evening.

Next time we definitely need to get there right when it opens
